District 20 — covering Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, and the Thomson corridor — draws buyers seeking central-north connectivity at pricing below the Core Central Region. Bishan MRT is a North-South Line and Circle Line interchange, and Ang Mo Kio MRT sits on the North-South Line. The Thomson–East Coast Line added Upper Thomson, Bright Hill, and Mayflower stations, further extending the district's rail coverage. Ang Mo Kio will also gain Cross Island Line interchange status when CRL Phase 1 opens around 2030, making it an NSL–CRL node and improving east–west connectivity across the island.
